North Hykeham is a growing town in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, situated immediately south-west of Lincoln. The settlement expanded considerably during the twentieth century as residential development spread from the city towards the surrounding villages. Its location close to the A46 and A15 gives North Hykeham excellent road connections across Lincolnshire. Today it is primarily a residential and commuter town, closely linked economically and socially with Lincoln.
