Its colourful harbour, historic walls and sandy beaches have made it one of the most popular coastal destinations in Wales.

The historical and tourist significance of the town

Tenby's medieval town walls and the remains of Tenby Castle reflect its importance as a fortified port. The historic harbour is surrounded by traditional buildings, while St Mary's Church contains significant medieval architectural features.
